Smoked Candied Pecans
Traditional candied pecan but given a kiss of smoke

- 1 egg white whisked
- 10 ounces pecan halves
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground clove
- ½ teaspoon groundallspice
- 1 pinch salt
Set up smoker (or oven) for 275 degrees
Briefly whisk the egg white till frothy. Then add all the other ingredients and mix to combine.
Spread out on a parchment lined baking sheet and put on smoker (or oven)
Mix every ten minutes until the sugar and spices are thoroughly browned. For me this happens at around 40 minutes.
Cool completely before storing.
