Steak Rub
We’ve all heard the expression, steak only needs salt, but my steak rub will convince you otherwise.

Equipment
- seasoning shaker or your fingers will do
Ingredients
- tbsp chili powder
- tbsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp turbinado sugar
- 1/4 tsp mustard powder
- 1/8 tsp thyme
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl or seasoning shaker. Store air tight to preserve freshness.
Notes
Take note, this recipe doesn't have salt. The salt needs to go on before the seasoning using about 3/4 teaspoon per pound of meat.
