Grilled Sugar Snap Peas with Chili Crunch Aioli

Ingredients

For the grilled sugar snap peas

  • 1 pound sugar snap peas
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons oil canola, vegetable, avocado, etc
  • kosher salt
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ lime juiced
  • sesame seeds optional for garnish

For the chili crunch aioli

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 - 3 tablespoons chili crunch to taste
  • ½ lime juiced

Instructions

For the grilled sugar snap peas

  • Set up grill for direct high heat with a grill basket.
  • Place sugar snap peas in a bowl and coat with a couple tablespoons of oil and a generous pinch of kosher salt. Toss to combine.
  • Place the sugar snap peas in the grilled basket over high direct heat. Move with a pair of tongs every 1 - 2 minutes to avoid burning. Grill for 5 to 7 minutes or until well charred.
  • Remove from grill and back into a bowl. Add the soy sauce, lime juice and sesame seeds and toss to combine.

For the chili crunch aioli

  • Combine the mayonnaise, chili crunch and lime juice. Mix to combine. Serve immediately with the warm sugar snap peas.
