Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 heaping tablespoon crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot honey see notes to make your own
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh shaved parmesan
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Over medium low heat, melt the butter in a sauce pan.
  • Once melted, add the garlic and whisk for 30 seconds or until very fragrant.
  • Afterwards, add the Frank's Red Hot, hot honey, and lemon juice. Whisk to combine and cook for another 1 - 2 minutes then remove from the heat and let cool but still be liquid. We don't want to melt the parmesan cheese.
  • Coat your wings in the sauce along with half of the parsmesan cheese and parsley. Toss to coat. Add the remain parmesan cheese and toss again. Serve immediately.

Notes

Sauce is good for 2-3 pounds of wings.
You can make your own hot honey but combining regular honey with crushed red pepper flakes.  Use as much as your heat tolerance desires!
