Hot Honey Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 ounces low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 2 ounces honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 - 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil optional but highly recommended
  • salt and pepper
  • green onions garnish
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil avocado, canola, vegetable

Instructions

  • Set up grill or pan for medium high heat.
  • Season the shrimp with salt and pepper on both sides
  • Once the grill/pan is preheated, add the oil and shrimp. Cook for 4 - 5 minutes, make sure that both sides of the shrimp get cooked.
  • Once the shrimp is done cooking, remove them to a bowl and place the pan back over the heat. Add the soy sauce, sriracha, honey, lime juice, garlic, ginger and toasted sesame oil and cook for 1 - 2 minutes or until thickened.
  • Place the shrimp back in the sauce and toss to coat. Garnish and serve immediately. Enjoy!
