Cooking Tips

Cranberry Gold Rush
Cranberry infused honey syrup with a traditional Gold Rush recipe

Ingredients
For the Cranberry Honey Syrup
- 1 part honey (ex: 1 cup)
- 1 part water (ex: 1 cup)
- 1 part fresh cranberries (ex: 1 cup)
For the cocktail
- 2 parts bourbon
- 3/4 parts cranberry honey syrup
- 3/4 parts fresh lemon juice
Instructions
For the Cranberry Honey Syrup
- combine the honey and water in a small pot of medium heat. Bring to a boil.
- Afterwards, add the cranberries, cover and remove from heat. Steep for 2 hours.
- Strain off the cranberries for the syrup. Roll the steeped cranberries in sugar to make sugared cranberries.
For the cocktail
- Combine the bourbon, lemon juice and cranberry honey syrup with ice. Mix to combine. Stain into glass with fresh ice. Garnish with sugared cranberries.
